JV Ejercito's mission to complete the Universal Health Care Act

Former senator JV Ejercito feels that it is his mission and obligation to push the Universal Healthcare Law,  which he sponsored and authored while he was still at the Senate.  


In 2019, President Rodrigo Duterte signed UHC into law. It guarantees all Filipinos an equitable access to quality and affordable healthcare goods and services and protection against financial risk.

Now more than ever, the UHC (Universal Health Care), which is still a work in progress, has to be prioritized and implemented properly. Ejercito said he will continue his fight to provide the Filipino a better healthcare system and infrastructure development in the country through the Universal Health Care Law. Senator JV also prioritizes the following health measures:

  • Barangay Health Workers Act. 
  • Dialysis Center Act
  • Establishment of a center for Autism
As chairman of the Senate Committee on Urban Planning,  Housing and Resettlement , senator JV led the passage of the following:

  • Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development 
  • Charter of the Quezon city development authority 
  • Balanced Housing development program amendments
  • Awarding of housing units to ISFs,  public servants,  seafarers under Senate Joint Resolution no. 7 
Senator JV also prioritizes the following measures for decent and affordable Housing :
  • The On-Site , In-City or Near-City
  • Resettlement Program Act
  • Teacher's Housing Program


JV Ejercito is running for the Senate 2022 under the Nacionalist People's Coalition (NPC) but he was also adapted by most of the presidential candidate.
